Santa's Workshop at the Dock

The Royal Albert Dock has already uploaded the events that will be taking place next month, with plenty of activities to enjoy with the little ones.


The Royal Albert Dock, starting the 3rd of December, will be offering new free family activities. to enter the month with a festive and playful mood. Activities such as Christmas craft making will be enjoyed throughout the area within the next few days.


We've prepared a calendar to illustrate when and what activities will be taking place in the Dock.

The activities will be taking place in the next order:

  • 3rd of December: Christmas Tree Decoration Workshop: The little ones will be able to create free and with total freedom Christmas decorations to put on the festive tree at home. From 10am to 4pm, all children are welcome to add their own twist to their decorations, from glitter to colorful strings and pom poms.


  • 10th of December: Christmas Garland Workshop: Every kid will be absolutely welcome to make their own paper garland. The Dock will be offering a big amount of crafting material to choose from.


  • 11th of December: Festive Door Swag Workshop: In this adult-focused event, everyone will be able to complete their Christmas decorations with a floral addition on the front door. All materials provided, such as greenery and dried flowers, will be provided by local florist Pretty Pricks.


  • 17th of December: Christmas Letter Workshop with Giant Ice Post: It's time for the little ones to write the magical letter to the North Pole and the Royal Albert Dock is couldn't be more excited. Children will be able to write their letter, send it through the giant ice post and they will even receive a magical reply in the post from Saint Nick.


  • 18th of December: Origami Decoration Workshop: This origami workshop will allow you and your kids to make any kind of decoration, which you'll be able to hang them in the wall or place them on your dinner plate. It's super creative and allows you to take a break to reconnect with your inner child again.
